CBI, Access Trainer, BSc. RMT, BAT, CBP, Parama BP

BodyTalkBodytalk has proven itself to be the best equipped modality I have come across to date which is able to offer my client the ability to become a fully integrated optimally functional being. I have been a licensed massage therapist for over fifteen years now and have utilized many different forms of bodywork, all of which are potent in their own right including deep tissue massage, neuro-muscular therapy, myofascial release, cranio-sacral, structural integration and others. While using these techniques I have been able to get tremendous benefits for my client base which includes vehicle accident victims, repetitive strain injuries, sport related injuries and professional dancers.

Here is some information to help you to understand BodyTalk:

  • The adult human is made up of approximately 100 trillion cells, could you imagine the chaos if there were not an intelligence governing them. This intelligence affords the cell the ability to survive and thrive, obtain nutrients from its environment, excrete waste and procreate. Clearly cells have some level of intelligence, as do the organs they make up, and the resulting systems; central nervous system, cardiovascular system etc. Indeed there must be some type of self correcting mechanism responsible for homeostasis or equilibrium. We recognize this mechanism as an aspect of Innate Wisdom.
  • Sub-atomic particles which make up the atoms which make up the cells etc. are in fluid constant communication however this circuitry can be negatively affected by STRESS which oftentimes are as a result of environmental factors or ineffective processing of information.
  • The "Talk" in "BodyTalk" refers to the communication between the innate wisdom of the client and that of the BodyTalk practitioner. By establishing communication with this intelligence the practitioner follows the dictates of this process and is able to prioritize the sequential techniques needed by the client to facilitate an efficient return to the best state of health possible for that individual at the current time.
  • Communication is set up via neuromuscular biofeedback similar to applied kinesiology wherein the practitioner calibrates a Yes/No from your body using your arm to do so.
  • BodyTalk can function as a standalone modality or as complimentary medicine.
  • It accelerates the healing process.
  • It is safe and non-invasive; very gentle work.

The most amazing benefits I have seen in the shortest space of time were facilitated by the Bodytalk System. In my free time...what free time? In Bodytalk there is no free time you spend your life studying. Just kidding you have at least five free minutes for yourself per day during which I often engage in reading/researching, practicing Chinese Internal Martial Arts, listening to music(all genres), creative writing, horse back riding and 4X4 exploring. I have completed all the human related Bodytalk modules, these are Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9. I have also done Right Brain Practical, Mindscape and currently enrolled in PaRama College Units 1&2 and have completed the Practical for both those units. Taking courses with Dr. Veltheim has always been an enjoyable experience for me simply because you can see the benefit of this work as soon as you put it into practice.

I am a Certified BodyTalk Instructor (CBI.) currently teaching: Access BodyTalk, Modules 1&2, and Modules 1&2 Advanced Practical. I enjoy all aspects of the BodyTalk System but as an instructor it is a joy to be around individuals engaging in the application of the system for the first time as they become awe struck with how effective these techniques can be. I look forward to spreading the awareness of this system wherever the interest can be nurtured.
